I think you hit the nail on the head with “lift up what’s here”…as in, stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

There are people on the ground doing some of this work already. Perhaps find ways to fund/enhance/train those groups further so they can do what they do best.

The Aviva Community Fund gives away money each year to community improvement projects and it is our hope that we are chosen this year….but we need YOU!

We have put in a bid for an accessible, boundless park in Ford City at the Gino & Liz Marcus Community Complex. We need your daily votes to make the dream a reality for residents of all-ages and abilities!
