The Rotary Club of Windsor Roseland has kicked off its 10th annual Packs for Success program to ensure that area kids in need will return to school this fall with backpacks filled with the tools they need to succeed.
Packs for success is a City and County funded initiative designed to provide new backpacks and grade-appropriate school supplies for students in need. The funding flows through Pathway To Potential’s poverty reduction strategy.
Many other community partners are involved in ensuring the success of the program and donations are still being accepted. Families are encouraged to drop off donations at their local fire hall or police station, or Staples on Tecumseh Road East.
For more information on the program, contact Rotary member Sue Zanin at 519-252-7939
